Airport Contraband Prologue and demo
Demo since 23 Apr 2026; Prologue since 27 Aug 2026, both free. The 28 Oct game is a separate listing.
Two free Steam builds exist today. Neither is the 28 October campaign.
Prologue (app 3199880)
Free since 27 August 2026. Store line: Caldora "from a slightly different angle" with more roguelike emphasis and new gameplay elements. Launch news: play your first days, check passports, inspect luggage, decide who gets through.
Hotfixes landed the same week:
- Hotfix #1 — disease detector animations; other boot bugs.
- Hotfix #2 — NPCs missing body items; extra NPC spawn.
- Hotfix #3 — crane vs truck physics so you cannot block the truck.
Reviews on 3 Oct 2026: 52 total, Very Positive (47 positive). English subset: 25.
Demo (app 4442880)
Free since 23 April 2026. Short description: customs officer duties, inspect passengers and luggage, body searches, inbound and outbound queues.
Reviews on 3 Oct 2026: 102 total, Very Positive (89 positive). English subset: 53.
How to use them
Play the Demo if you want the booth fantasy (queues, bags, papers). Play the Prologue if you want the roguelike experiments DRAGO called out. Do not treat either review score as a forecast of the 28 October build.
