Bend them
"Transfer something off the record, or let potential smugglers and restricted items through." Quick money, named risk. The page also says you can work with the local cartel.
Why this is a roguelike fork
Success on either path is supposed to buy rewards and upgrades that carry to your next officer. A dirty first week is not just a high score — it is the kit the next body inherits. Exact upgrade trees are not public.
